The first piece I started working on was the corselette: I had a vintage dress that had a great embroidery pattern on it, so I used that as a template for my beading.
After coming up with a decent pattern for the corselette, I cut it out so that I could begin beading it, leaving the seams clear. As of today, and after over 50+ hours of hand-beading, I have yet to finish. I cut the front wrong, it's too wide, and I don't like how big my grommets ended up being. I may re-make it before my next con.
